We investigate and assess transportation needs for each project during cost estimation. Materials are coordinated for each project to ensure that they are transported to the job-site in time to maintain construction operations, project requirements, and overall schedule. Special attention is given to packaging materials (order, palletizing, and containerizing) to provide weather protection as needed during transport and on-site storage.
A Staged Approach
For remote locations, mobilization is accomplished in stages. Emediong responsibilities include monitoring barge windows for supply delivery, establishing staging areas in readily accessible locations, delivering equipment specific for each work phase, and employing strict environmental controls for the protections.
